So I do not do a lot of formal or pageant shoots. I have known Lindsey Claire for a few years now, but I really knew her grandmother, Mrs. Vashti Muse very well. She was my reading teach at Hinds in 1996. Mrs. Muse helped me in so many ways at Hinds. I did not know much about the american culture other than watching it on TV. She spent time with me to teach me, not just reading, but manners and how things are done down here in the south. I will never forget her. I know that she is now smiling down at Lindsey Claire and very proud of her.

One of the first places I visited in Mississippi was Mendenhall. Talking about culture shock! Originally from the country of Jordan and went to high school in Maryland. A missionary from Mendenhall was a very very close friend of our family and she invited me to come down to visit. To make this story short, I ended up living with them and going to Hinds Community College in Raymond. Jaime and Chris are from Mendenhall. Its going to be my first wedding to capture in Mendenhall and I am so excited. We took the engagement photos in Clinton, MS!

As you have noticed, the blog has changed formats and will probably change again. I am just trying to get everything ready. Yes, I could have done this before I went public, but I wanted to share everything with you. Please feel free to comment and let me know what you would like to get out of this blog. Sure, I will post photos of different photoshots and some other pictures. But, I also want to be a resource for anything that deals with photography. Any suggestions or advice would be great. Looking forward to everything and dont forget to Smile For Jesus today!!

Ok, so I am going to try to start blogging for the first time. Not sure how it will go, but I am going to try my best. I am going to post images of the photo shoots that I take and just talk photography. As of right now, I am still trying to get this blog looking like I want it to look. I am sure Jana will help me with it soon! If you have not noticed, she is the backbone of Chao Photography. She does a wonderful job. Thank you Jana!
