It was an honor to be a part of the Fowler family for a third time.  My first introduction to a Greek wedding was when I captured Michael (Katina’s brother) and McKenna’s wedding in 2008.  Growing up in the country of Jordan, I could see a lot of similarities in the culture and wedding festivities.  I also had the pleasure of capturing Nick (Katina’s brother) and Cari’s wedding in 2012.  When Katina contacted me to capture hers and Brandon’s wedding day, I was so excited.  I knew that it was going to be a party to remember it definitely left nothing to be desired. Oopaaa!

I was so blessed to be part of Katie Gay’s wedding.  She was one of my first people that I ever photographed professionally during her tennis days at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Mississippi.  This beautiful wedding was held at the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Jackson, Mississippi.  Reception was shortly afterwards at the Old Capital Inn a block away.  I have been capturing weddings for the past 8 years and this was my first wedding where the couple left on a double bike.

This day turned out to be just right for Lindsey and Chase.  The weather forecast was for rain.  They drove all the way from Birmingham, Alabama to take these engagement photos and a little rain was not going to stop them.  We were blessed with great weather and the rest is history.  I am so excited and ready for their wedding in Natchez, Mississippi this upcoming May.

What a great way to start the 2014 wedding season capturing Kendall and Christian’s special day!  I got the chance to know Christian better while taking some classes at the Apple store.

What a wonderful time I had with Devon and Jeremy! The highlight of our afternoon was when Jeremy showed us how to open the wine bottle with his shoe–you learn something new every day! I cannot wait until their Brookhaven wedding in September!
